Movie Posters By Me

In March of 2016, Garrett had an additional idea for a project to incorporate the family into the work of the movie blog. He enlisted the help of their (then) seven-year-old son to complete a simple task: illustrate the poster for a given movie title he has never heard of or seen, and then explain what the movie is about.

While a simple idea on the surface, the films that were chosen for illustrations were those whose disparity between the titles and the imagination of the young mind differ most drastically. Of course, this is a wonderful exercise that flexes imagination, artistic vision, and storytelling structure and performance. The result?
